Bouncing Ball
L3-YR2 LEANNE - BOUNCING BALL ANIMATION from Long Road Applied Media Diploma on Vimeo.
We created a bouncing ball animation for our 1st go. We learnt we should always work backwards when copying the other ball or working out placement as then you can see it from the last frame.
We had a piece of paper which had all 32 shots made out for us which I had to place on the correct pages to get the right effect. I added colour and a shade to my ball to make it stand out and more realistc then a simple ball as I found a little simple with out the detail.
To take the pictures we had the camera set up on a tripod point over the pictures which I turned over for each step. I used Istop motion for the recording of the book. This programme is made espically for this type of task. The last page I took about 4 of the same to give it the still effect and so It would not swap to quick back to the beginning.
